sewing all day long and not much to show for it
Why do I do this to myself? Why do I dream of creating adorable things for my children and not budget enough time for the inevitable mistakes, unpicking and interruptions that happen while I am sewing? Surely this type of stuff happens to all who sew, right?
Two down, two to go. When they are all finished I will take a picture and share with you what I have designed AND made for my children. I tell ya, I am getting more ambitious all the time!

I do not sew…at all. I have needed to make a quick stitch or put back on a button in a hurry…..honestly, I have to run next door to borrow needle and thread.
Trace, I think you have a mental block about sewing. I really did try to teach you some things but it’s like you trying to teach me about the follicular phase or luteal phase. I just don’t get it!
I know I do! I totally don’t get it!
My goal is to keep trying. I am much better than I was a year ago!
So, how are the buttonholes coming along?
They are not…my machine doesn’t do buttonholes and Blythe’s isn’t working…remember the day you were sewing on it? They are finished though…except for some attachment issues. After long hours of unpicking last night, I finished around 1 a.m.
