thankful thursdays 9/8
How on earth has it been since July 7 that I last posted a Thankful Thursdays post? I have been grateful the whole time, but somehow I have not taken the time to write my weekly post.
* Today I am grateful for a clean bedroom with a bed that has been made every day for the past two weeks. My bedroom has been messy my entire life and I set a goal back in May to create a haven for Richard and I. The haven isn’t all the way created yet, but I have kept it clean for two weeks…this is a FIRST!!

* I am thankful for my friends, Amy and Jessica. It is such a blessing in my life to have two dear friends in my ward. I have many, many wonderful friends and rich relationships, but there is something special about having someone in your church congregation that you can really share your heart with…and God has seen fit to bless me with two such treasures! Last night we took Amy out for her birthday and had a blast laughing our heads off, sharing our frustrations, crying, and of course, laughing some more. Thanks ladies – you make my heart sing!

* I am thankful for natural healing therapies. My husband was injured at work yesterday and I rubbed him down with some Valor, sent him to Melissa for a foot zone, and today he is doing so much better! I’ll need to massage him for the next few nights and then he should be good as new!

* Sunshine! What glorious weather we have had this week. I love September!

* Cantaloupe has always been my favorite fruit and this morning Blythe cut some up for breakfast…YUM!

* The youth in my Worldviews and YOU! class yesterday brought joy to my heart! They were excited about learning and were dedicated to studying hard, opening their minds, and making a difference in the world. I am so exited to spend the next 8 months learning with them!

* Tonight our colloquia group is meeting to discuss The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis. I can’t wait to delve deeply into the Christian sojourn with a room full of friends seeking truth and understanding.
